The 500 series access points are specifically designed to provide services to multiple clients and traffic types simultaneously in dense environments, achieving overall network performance up to four times that of 802.11ac access points.
The 500 series access points can also provide differentiated features, including artificial intelligence RF optimization, real-time upgrades, security certified through WPA3 and Enhanced Open, and unified wired and wireless network policies with dynamic isolation.
In addition, when Aruba's AI/ML function is enabled, the Green AP energy-saving function can also be used.
AP-505
Two integrated dual band omnidirectional tilt down antennas for 2 × 2 MIMO, peak antenna gain 4.9dBi at 2.4GHz, 5.7dBi at 5GHz. The built-in antenna optimizes the installation direction of the horizontal ceiling for the access point. The downward tilt angle for achieving greater gain is approximately 30 degrees.
By combining the modes of each antenna in MIMO RF, the peak gain of the combined average mode is 4.3dBi (2.4GHz frequency band) and 5.6dBi (5GHz frequency band), respectively.
